Celtics hold off Bulls 124-113 as Boston’s Al Horford turns back the clock

The Boston Celtics beat up on the Chicago Bulls in the fourth quarter after three fairly close frames in Saturday night’s 124-113 win over the Bulls at United Center. That they made quick work of Chicago once they started playing hard even without three starters is all the more impressive.

Sans Kristaps Porzingis, Jaylen Brown, and Jrue Holiday, the Celtics improved to 57-14 with the win. They now have an 11.5 lead over the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference, and a 7-game lead over the Denver Nuggets and Oklahoma City Thunder, who are tied with the West’s best record.

Breaking down the win on a recent episode, the hosts of the CLNS Media “How Bout Them Celtics!” podcast took a closer look at the Chicago victory in the clip embedded below. Check it out!
