The Terry Rozier era of the Miami Heat has begun, and one of the first tests of that partnership will be vs. the team that drafted him as the Boston Celtics face the Heat on the road Thursday night. Rozier’s debut with Miami on Wednesday was less than auspicious, as the Louisville alum shot just 3-of-11 from the field as his new team fell to the Memphis Grizzlies 105-96.
We should not expect things to go so poorly for the Heat moving forward, and given Miami always rises to the occasion when they face Boston, expect a tough win for Boston so long as they respect their opponent.
One wrinkle to keep an eye on is the coaching battle between Boston head coach Joe Mazzulla and his opposing coach for the Heat, Eric Spoelstra. Will Mazzulla hold his own now that the Celtics have had a full offseason and then some to institute his vision?
