Celtic youngster Jude Bonnar set for second Championship loan move

Celtic youngster Jude Bonnar is set for a loan move to Arbroath, according to a report.

The 20-year-old midfielder is poised for another stint in the Scottish Championship after spending time at Ayr United last season, winning praise from Parkhead legend Scott Brown.

He managed 21 appearances in the second tier and 30 in all competitions, and will now get more exerience at Gayfield.

As reported by the Daily Record, he has been training with the Red Lichties this week and will sign on loan for the season.

The 20-year-old reportedly had several other options but has chosen Arbroath after being impressed by the management team of David Gold and Colin Hamilton.

It is hoped a deal will be done in time for Bonnar to be involved in tomorrow's league clash with Morton.

Meanwhile, Celtic yesterday confirmed a new Cooperation Agreement with Dumbarton, with two young players immediately heading to the League Two side.

The club are in talks about a second agreement with a team in League One.
