Celtic XI v Ross County confirmed as Postecoglou makes big calls on Bernabei, Giakoumakis and Hart

Celtic have named their rotated starting XI to face Ross County in Premier Sports Cup round of 16 this evening.

Only captain Callum McGregor and Liel Abada survive from Sunday's storming 9-0 league win at Dundee United as manager Ange Postecoglou looks to give his star men rest ahead of a massive week. Rangers come to Parkhead on Premiership business on Saturday before the visit of Real Madrid in their maiden Champions League fixture next week.

Benjamin Siegrist comes in for his debut between the sticks and Joe Hart is given a rest completely. Alexandro Bernabei is in at left-back and Giorgos Giakoumakis returns to lead the line. Postecoglou said of the Celtic match in Dingwall as they kick off their defence of a trophy they one last December: That was our message to the players at the weekend. The most important game is the next one.
