Celtic are "working to finalise" a season-long loan deal for Chelsea teenager Landon Emenalo before the transfer deadline, according to a new report.
Emenalo was at Celtic’s Lennoxtown training complex last month as the club explored a potential move for the Chelsea prospect. However, the proposed switch was held up after he picked up a knock in training with the Stamford Bridge side.

Now, Sky Sports reports that the 18-year-old left-back is expected to arrive at Parkhead on a straight loan for the remainder of the campaign, with all parties hopeful the move can be completed tonight.

Chelsea have allowed the youngster time to recover before completing the final paperwork, but Celtic remain optimistic a deal can now be pushed through.
The move is understood to be a straight loan, with no option or obligation to buy included in the agreement. Emenalo would provide another left-sided defensive option as Celtic look to strengthen their squad before the window closes.
