Rangers secured their second victory over Celtic in seven days as Ryan Don Naderi’s goal earned a 1-0 Scottish Premiership win at Celtic Park. Derek McInnes’ side followed last weekend’s 3-0 League Cup success with another disciplined performance to maintain their recent momentum.
Celtic started brightly but could not turn their possession into a breakthrough, with Auston Trusty having a goal ruled out for offside before Kieran Tierney hit the woodwork. Rangers took control as the half progressed and moved ahead after Minsu Kim’s effort was saved by Viljami Sinisalo, with Naderi reacting quickest to convert the rebound in the 33rd minute.
Martin O’Neill’s side pushed for an equaliser after the interval but struggled to find a way through Rangers’ defence. Olwethu Makhanya appeared to have doubled the visitors’ lead, only for the goal to be ruled out for handball. Celtic made changes late on, but Rangers held firm to complete another Old Firm victory and leave their rivals facing a second successive domestic defeat.

Speaking to BOYLE Sports, who offer the latest football odds, McGeady said: “Celtic have to make a statement in this game, because question marks are already being raised about the club, the board, the team, and recruitment after the disappointment of exiting the Champions League.
“Their domestic form has been really good, so there wasn't really a concern there, apart from giving away too many chances and goals. But off the back of the weekend, everything is being questioned again.

Celtic will be desperate to put last weekend’s 3-0 defeat behind them, but their 3-1 loss to Ferencvaros did little to lift the mood. Rangers, meanwhile, have won five games in a row and will head to Celtic Park full of confidence.
