Celtic are back in action this weekend when they host Motherwell upon the return of Premiership action.
Plenty of Hoops stars have been busy on international duty over the last 10 days but will return to Glasgow looking to put right a shock 2-0 defeat to St Mirren last time out. That loss ended a run of almost a year without defeat for manager Ange Postecoglou in the league and they will be keen to start that run again versus a Motherwell side showing positive signs under new manager Steven Hammell.
There may be a few fitness concerns to contend with though after a tough run of international luck but Celtic will hope that those are just minor ahead of a mammoth run of games between now and the World Cup break in November. They could start this game in second place if Rangers achieve victory against Hearts in their lunchtime kick-off. Here is all the information you need to know ahead of the weekend.

David Turnbull meanwhile was forced to pull out of the Scotland squad with a knock and Cameron Carter-Vickers the same with a problem that side-lined him from the St Mirren loss. New boy Oliver Abildgaard will be desperate for minutes and Carl Starfelt remains out injured.
