Celtic v Hearts kick-off time, TV information, Team news and more

Celtic host Hearts this weekend in a massive clash in the Scottish Premiership.

The Glasgow side are closing in on yet another title and could claim the championship with a win today. Celtic have won five of their last six, with that sole blemish being a 1-1 draw with Rangers last time out.

If Celtic win on Saturday and Rangers fail to beat Dundee on Sunday, Celtic will be crowned Scottish champions for the 52nd time.

And with news that UEFA are set to ban Russian clubs from competing in European competitions next season, a league victory could guarantee Celtic a place in the group stage of the Champions league.

Hearts have already secured European football for next season and sit third in the table heading into tomorrow's game. And with a Scottish cup final to come, The Jambos will be desperate to build some momentum.

Josip Juranovic is still injured for Celtic, while the game may come too soon for Hearts forward Ellis Simms, who is struggling with a groin injury at the moment.

Quotes Corner

Ange Postecoglou: "Obviously after last weekend's game, I think for everyone there was quite a bit of emotion and physical exertion on the day so we gave the boys a couple of days off to recover and refresh them a little bit," he told Celtic TV.

"We are back in training and looking forward to it. It's been a challenging year but we are in the final straight now. We know as a group we have 10 days together and we want to make the most of it.

"It's kind of a tricky one because you don't want to fall over the line and just get it over and done with. It's important you actually enjoy this bit.

"The challenge is still in front of us, we haven't accomplished what we want to, so enjoy this bit, be up for it, don't want it just to come to you.
