Celtic reportedly need to offer between £2.5 million and £3.75 million to land Lanus left-back Alexandro Bernabei.
The Argentinian missed his side's match with Defensa at the weekend and won’t feature against Atletico Tucuman on Wednesday night.
Media outlets in Argentina report he is left out of the squad awaiting an improved offer from Celtic after further speculation claimed an "insufficient bid" was made by the Hoops earlier this week.

Now fresh reports claim a fee just in the region of, £3 million would be enough to bring Bernabei to Glasgow.
Hoops chief, Ange Postecoglou has Scotland international Greg Taylor to call upon in that position while Liam Scales, Boli Bolingoli and Josip Juranovic were also used during season 2021/22.

It's understood that the Lanus board predict that their main left-back will depart for Europe soon and are expecting a fresh offer from Scotland.
