Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has proved adept at many things since arriving in Scotland.
But, perhaps, his key trait is his ability to identify exactly what he wants with a minimum of fuss.
And that has served him well in the transfer market. His crystal clear vision for Celtic has led to the likes of Kyogo and Jota headlining an incredible recruitment haul.
Postecoglou expects fewer Celtic arrivals but wants them in early where possible to truly gain an advantage ahead of the Champions League group stage.
And he's not short on potential arrivals – not even including the aforementioned Benfica winger available for £6.5m this summer.
Record Sport runs the rule over the latest developments.
Antoine Semenyo
Nigel Pearson is not an ostrich, that has long been established, and he's also not burying his head in the sand when it comes to his best player. Antoine Semenyo is a wanted man with his thrilling displays at Ashton Gate catching the eye of clubs across Britain, with Celtic understood to have watched the 22-year-old in person.
But Pearson wants the man with a year left on his current deal – who they valued around £20m in January – to stick around ahead of the new campaign.
He said: “We don’t want to be a selling club, we want to keep our best player, of course we do, but the reality of where we are is there are times when that stance will be stretched and it will be questioned, and what we have to do is make the right decision for us as a football club. We’ll have a better chance of succeeding next year if Antoine is here. But if he goes somewhere he’s going to be expensive for somebody.”
Cameron Carter Vickers
He's been cooler than the other side of the pillow with Celtic since arriving and he looked pretty chill during his trip to Ibiza with his Celtic pals. But will he be returning next season?
Record Sport revealed last month that the Premiership champions are in the box seat but a host of English Premier League interest remains. Everton have become the latest team to be linked ahead of the new campaign.
But his getaway with Stephen Welsh, Jota and defensive partner Carl Starfelt bodes well for the future as boss Postecoglou wants him back in Glasgow.
Ben Crompton
A name out the blue but the Shrewsbury midfielder has gained a serious reputation at youth level. The club that developed Joe Hart reckon they have another star in the making on their hands.
And now Celtic have been linked with a player, who multiple reports down south state is on the radar of a host of clubs throughout the pyramid.
English football has proved bountiful to Celtic in recent years and could do so again after the 18-year-old turned down a deal at New Meadow.
Mohanad Jeahze
Postecoglou tempered talk of the Iraq international joining Celtic last week. But he appears to be on the move somewhere with Swedish league leaders Hammarby on the lookout for his successor.
Expressen state Hannover left-back Niklas Hult is being lined up for a return to his homeland if Jeahze does depart in the coming weeks.
Jeahze's all-action displays have him on the radar across Europe but a mooted £2m move to Celtic doesn't appear set in stone despite claims a move was imminent.
