It's been Viaplay Cup duties that have been on Celtic minds over the weekend but transfer talk is never too far away at Parkhead.
A multitude of names have been linked with joining the Parkhead club while some others have been tipped with leaving Ange Postecoglou's side this window. Yuki Kobayashi, Alistair Johnston and Tomoki Iwata have already arrived at the club as the Australian manager revamps his playing squad in their pursuit of retaining a Premiership title that they won last May.
There's a treble dream alive and well after beating Kilmarnock 2-0 in the League Cup last four on Saturday, with a Scottish Cup tilt starting this weekend. against Morton. Behind the scenes, rest assured the Hoops will look to add to their squad if the right person comes along. There is plenty still to unfold before the window slams shut for another season and here are the latest rumours surrounding Celtic as the window approaches its final fortnight.
Giorgos Giakoumakis
Celtic have reportedly agreed a fee with Urawa Red Diamonds for striker Giakoumakis, with the total package said to be around just £3.5 million. That is according to transfer guru Fabrizio Roman who said the Japanese outfit have struck a deal with the Scottish Premiership champions for the player who cost £2.5m from VVV Venlo last summer but appears to be heading for the Parkhead exit.
Giakoumakis struck the clincher in the Viaplay Cup semi-final against Kilmarnock on Saturday and it could be his last goal for the club. The report also states that MLS side Atlanta remain keen while Sampdoria had reportedly agreed personal terms to make this happen. Nothing was set in stone with Celtic though.
And that might not change either for the foreseeable future. According to Football News 24, a deal to take him to Serie A with an option to buy if La Samp avoid relegation is on 'stand-by pending the hope for change of ownership.'
Cho Gue-Sung
With the Greek striker's exit, Celtic would look to find a replacement. It appeared for a while that South Korean star Cho Gue-Sung would be that man but recent reports indicate he will stay with Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors until the summer.
Technical director Park Ji Sung has weighed in and told News.MT that results are key as opposed to a move away from Korea's K-League. He said: "The most important thing to Cho Kyu-sung is to be able to play soccer as a main player and achieve good results rather than going to the European leagues."
Josip Juranovic
Looking back towards the exit door, another name has been added to the Josip Juranovic suitors list. Several teams across the continent have already been linked with the Celtic right-back after his stellar World Cup with Croatia.
Italy is where some of the most high-profile links have emerged, with Monza, Torino and Roma. Perhaps the biggest of them all has now emerged with Juventus looking at acquiring Juranovic, according to Blasting News.
But it might not happen imminently. It's claimed that the Turin giants may look to move for him in the summer with full-backs Alex Sandro and Juan Cuadrado out of contract then.
Szymon Wlodarczyk
There's been several strikers linked with Postecoglou's club this window and the young Polish forward is the latest. He is currently with Gornik Zabrze, scoring seven times in 17 games after spending time at Legia Warsaw.
His club were in friendly action against Japanese side Sanfrecce Hiroshima in a Turkish training camp and Sport Dziennik claim that during the 1-1 draw, he was 'watched by foreign scouts.' Anderlecht and Freiburg have also been rumoured to have targeted the 20-year-old.
