Celtic are set to go again next season even stronger than last season in their quest to retain the Scottish Premiership title.
Ange Postecoglou has already secured USA defender Cameron Carter-Vickers on a permanent deal from Tottenham Hotspur while a deal to bring Jota back to Parkhead is expected to be struck with Benfica.
But they aren’t expected to be done there.
With Liam Scales linked with a move to Aberdeen as well as midfield duo Tom Rogic and Nir Bitton departing the club at the end of the season, there are gaps in the Hoops squad that will need to be filled.
And the future of out of contract starlet Karamoko Dembele also remains to be seen, with a move to the Serie A suggested.
Record Sport takes a look at the latest players linked with the current Premiership champions.
Ahmed Touba
Celtic have been named as one of the teams interested in Touba as they search for more defensive cover.
Homme Du Match state that Marseille, Sevilla, Olympiakos, Angers, Benfica, Real Betis, AEK Athens and Bayer Leverkusen are all interested in the 24-year-old.
This means the Hoops will have their work cut out if they are to win the race for Touba’s signature.
Interestingly, the Algeria international’s contract expires in June 2023, so this summer could be RKC Waalwijk‘s last chance to receive a fee for the versatile defender.
Touba’s price is estimated to be around €1million.
Vinicius Souza
Souza is another talented player to be linked with a move to Glasgow.
He is currently at Belgian second division side, Lommel SK. But the club are part of the City Football Group who both Postecoglou and new head of recruitment Mark Lawwell have strong ties with.
Fenerbahce, Club Brugge and Bologna have also declared an interest, with the Scottish side facing a battle to persuade the former Flamengo central midfielder that his immediate future lies in the SPFL.
The 22-year-old is an option for Postecoglou who is in the market for midfielders after Bitton and Rogic left the club at the end of the season.
Alexandro Bernabei
The Hoops are are also said to be closing in on signing Argentine left-back Bernabei.
Football Scotland say that they have scouted the Lanus defender for a while as they seek competition for Greg Taylor at left-back.
The 21-year-old featured 24 times in the Argentine Primera Division last season.
And the report states that Bernabei will become Celtic's second signing of the summer after Carter-Vickers secured a four year deal at Parkhead.
