Celtic team news for Ross County trip revealed as David Turnbull and Moritz Jenz start in Dingwall

Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has made a some changes from the win over Aberdeen last weekend as David Turnbull comes in to replace the injured Reo Hatate while Moritz Jenz comes in for his full debut.

The Hoops kicked off their Scottish Premiership title defence with a 2-0 victory and they will be looking to build on that as they make the difficult trip to Dingwall to face Ross County. Celtic's title win last season means they automatically qualify for the Champions League group stages and avoid the early summer qualifiers and added games - keeping them fresh for league duty. It's a luxury the Parkhead boss will be delighted with at this stage of the season while Old Firm rivals Rangers negotiate midweek football alongside domestic matters.

Celtic No1 Joe Hart retains his place in goal with Benjamin Siegrist the back-up option on the bench. Josip Juranovic, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Mortiz Jenz and Greg Taylor make up the defence.

Callum McGregor, Matt O'Riley and David Turnbull are selected in the midfield positions with Jota, Daizen Maeda and Kyogo Furuhashi in attack for the champions.

Summer signings Aaron Mooy and Alexandro Bernabei are amongst the subs as is defender Carl Starfelt as he steps up his return from injury.

Celtic XI: Hart, Juranovic, Jenz, Carter-Vickers, Taylor, McGregor, O'Riley, Turnbull, Jota, Maeda, Kyogo

Subs: Siegrist, Starfelt, Giakoumakis, Abada, Mooy, McCarthy, Bernabei, Forrest, Ralston
