TWO Celtic targets have been told by their managers they will be staying at the clubs for the rest of the season.
The Hoops were linked with a £6 million move for Swiss World Cup starlet Ardon Jashari, with Europa League winners Eintracht Frankfurt and Bundesliga high-fliers RB Leipzig also credited with an interest in the 20-year-old, who plays for FC Luzern
And Celtic were also mentioed in connection with a move for Baník Ostrava striker Ladislav Almasi, with the Slovakian international also attracting interest from other top clubs in Europe.
However, with many European clubs now off to their winter training camps, both of the players' managers have indicated their star men are not for sale.
FC Luzern boss Mario Flick, who won 125 caps for Liechtenstein, said: "I was not informed either by the player himself or by our sports director Remo Meyer that there could be a change of club for Ardon soon.
"So that's why I'm assuming that he will play for us in the second half of the season.
"We have a further 20 games before the end of the season and it will be a very long second half of the campaign. We need our best players and Ardon definitely falls into that category."
And Banik Ostrava boss Pavel Hapal is also keen to keep hold of Almasi.
He said: "I have spoken to Ladislav and the club of course. Based on that information, I believe he will remain with Banik after January. "There have been no concrete offers for his transfer yet although we are aware of the speculation.
"He was ill over the Christmas period and on antibiotics, but he will return this week and he will be an important part of our plans."
