Celtic have lodged an "improved offer" for Sandefjord defender Zinedin Smajlovic, according to a new report.
On Monday, news outlets in Greece speculated that the former Sweden U21 international had seen an approach by the Scottish Premiership champions rejected, following initial interest reported the day before.

Now, established journalist Rudy Galetti has provided an update on the 22-year-old centre-back's situation via his social media account. On X, the football reported posted, "Celtic have submitted an improved offer for Zinedin Smajlovic worth €4.5m fixed + €2m in bonuses.
