Celtic starting team news vs Rangers as Ange Postecoglou aims for fourth Old Firm win on trot

Celtic will be aiming to dish out more derby misery on Rangers when they face off at Ibrox.

Ange Postecoglou and his troops are on course for a domestic Treble with the League Cup and Scottish Premiership title already in the bag. They defeated Michael Beale's men at Hampden both in the Viaplay Cup Final and the Scottish Cup semi-final this season with Inverness now standing between the Hoops and a domestic clean sweep.

The new Rangers boss has is yet to defeat Celtic since his arrival with four meetings ending in with three Hoops wins and one draw. Bragging rights are up for grabs today once again at Ibrox with Postecoglou aiming to make it FOUR wins on the bounce in the Old Firm derby and make it five unbeaten as the rivals lock horns for the final time this campaign.

Ahead of the trip to face the Light Blues, he said: “All of these things have context. I guess for us, our goal every year is to be champions. That’s got to be the ambition for us because of everything that’s associated with it.

“Apart from obviously being successful, for the past couple of years it gets you in to the Champions League and everything that that brings with it.

“So that’s where the ambitions lie, but within that you have the kind of individual contests that you also know are important and significant to the club, and every derby is that kind of game.

‘It’s an opportunity to win against a very good team, and the team closest to us in the table.’

“And it’s a game that always means something to our supporters, so it’s an opportunity to create another significant moment for us. So, that’s the opportunity that’s here now.”

CELTIC XI: Hart, Ralston, Kobayashi, Starlet, Bernabei, McGregor, Hatate, O’Riley, Abada, Jota, Oh

Subs: Bain, Taylor, Kyogo, Haksabanovic, Turnbull, Iwata, Maeda, Forrest, Summers
