Celtic stars spotted dining out at Glasgow Italian restaurant including Jota and Matt O'Riley

A host of Celtic stars toasted their Scottish Cup win over Hearts with an Italian meal in Glasgow on Saturday night.

Ange Postecoglou's men kept their Treble hopes alive for this campaign with a 3-0 win in the capital and booked another day out at Hampden with Rangers next up. They've already dined out at the national stadium this season and tasted the sweet success of silverware after defeating the Light Blues in the League Cup Final.

The Scottish champions have been relentless on the park with that strong bond between the players evident. But it is not only on the pitch that the team-mates are showing connections with six players taking to the city for some bonding outwith club hours. Carl Starfelt, Alistair Johnston, Benjamin Siegrist, Jota, Hyeon-Gyu and Matt O'Riley were all snapped at Sarti on Bath Street alongside server Luca on the official Facebook page for the restaurant.

Celtic are in pole position to land back to back league titles with Michael Beale and Rangers trailing the champions by nine points at the top. The Ibrox gaffer remains unbeaten in the league since taking over from Giovanni van Bronckhorst but the Parkhead outfit have matched their Old Firm rival stride for stride to not allow any opportunity to claw back some of the points difference at the summit.

The duo meet twice more in the league this season with the next encounter taking place on April 8 before a further meeting during the league split.

They have now also learned they will go head to head in the last four of the Scottish Cup with Falkirk and Inverness making up the other tie. The semi-final ties will be played on April 29/30 with fixture details to be released in due course.
