Celtic star Oh details Son Heung-min chat over Ange Postecoglou as he reflects on his Hoops start

Celtic star Oh Hyeon-gyu has detailed his conversation with Son Heung-min over Ange Postecoglou.

The former Hoops gaffer has made the move to the English Premier League with Tottenham on a four-year deal and will now be in charge of the South Korea superstar. He's been a top performer in North London over the years alongside Harry Kane and will be desperate to get back to playing at the top level and bidding for silverware under the watch of the 57-year-old.

Ange brought Oh to the Scottish champions following Giorgos Giakoumakis' exit for a new challenge with Atlanta United in the MLS. The hitman feels he could have done better in his first six months at the club but is certain he will be better next season.

Speaking in his homeland, he said: "He [Son] asked me about Ange’s style — what he emphasises, his style of play. I’ve only played for Ange for half a year, but I already know that he’s tactically exceptional. I believe he’ll succeed.

"For me personally, I thought I was lacking something in my time at Celtic so far.

"Looking back, I felt that I could have done better. But I think I will be able to produce a better performance next season."

The 22-year-old grabbed seven goals in 21 appearances for the Hoops last term with most of those minutes coming from the bench. Four of those strikes came in the final five games of the season during the league split.
