Celtic hero Yang Hyun-Jun could be named as South Korea captain for the Asian Games after his international manager hailed his leadership qualities.
The 24-year-old netted his first goal of the season as Celtic cruised to a 3-0 home win over Aberdeen this week to maintain their perfect start to the league.
Yang will jet off to Japan after Saturday night's game at St Mirren to represent his country at the Asian Games.
He was named as one of South Korea's overage players and will miss both upcoming Old Firm games in the Premier Sports Cup and the league during the tournament.

And South Korea's boss for the Asian Games, Lee Min-sung, has revealed Yang is in the running for the captain's armband.
He said: "Yang has shown great leadership qualities at Celtic and I have been watching his progress closely.
"He has improved both as a player and as a leader on the pitch.
"He is one of my three senior players in the squad, along with Lee Ki-hyuk and Um Ji-sung and they are the players I am relying on to show their experience at the tournament."
Yang could earn exemption from being called up for military service for his country if South Korea wins the Asian Games for the fourth time in a row this month.
