Celtic star Alistair Johnston is convinced Canada can make World Cup history despite having to move out of their own host tournament to play their next game in the USA.
Johnston helped the Canadians qualify for their Round of 32 after three games in their own country, but they now have to travel south to Los Angeles for their next game against South Africa because they didn't top their group.
It's the first time Canada have advanced to the next stages and Hoops ace Johnston reckons they will have to prepare for all eventualities in the game against Bafana Bafana.
He said: "Of course, we would have loved to stay in Vancouver, we’re not kidding anyone on there.
"But we’re playing in LA, we’re not playing on Mars or something, you know what I mean.
"I’m expecting a decent chunk of Canadian fans to get there.

"It is what it is and we will go again in the States.
"We need to be flexible in adjusting to circumstances.
"We are a team, with our tactics and how we play, we tend to wear teams down as the half progresses.
"Sometimes we have a plan when we start a match. It's OK if that's not working. Then you've got to be brave and feel the game.
"Start rolling things out, find some shorter passes, be brave in terms of staying on the ball."
