Celtic left-back Alexandro Bernabei has penned a heartfelt message to former club Lanus in his first comments since being arrested.
The 21-year-old was taken into police custody earlier this month amid claims he was picked up for an alleged drink-driving offence. It has also been alleged by the Daily Record that he was involved in a breach of the peace bust-up.
Boss Ange Postecoglou picked him in his squad for Sunday's 2-0 Premiership win at home to Hearts but Bernabei did not come off the bench. He was was released from custody on an undertaking to appear in court at a later date and now he has spoken on social media for the first time since the incident.
Bernabei penned an emotional farewell to former club Lanus, who he left in the summer for Parkhead after coming through their academy ranks. Lanus also banked seven figures from his transfer to Celtic.
