Aaron Mooy has called time on his football career with immediate effect at the age of just 32.
The Celtic midfielder - who earned 57 caps for Australia - is walking away from the sport amid weeks of rumours surrounding his future. Mooy proved an inspired signing under Ange Postecoglou with his form after the World Cup was a key factor en route to a second consecutive Premiership title.
But Mooy is calling it quits after a career which included stints with St Mirren, Huddersfield and Brighton, reports The Daily Record.
