Celtic are set to land Sam Johnstone on loan in the next 24 hours, according to reports.
It's claimed the Scottish Premiership champions will finalise a deal to sign the Wolves goalkeeper this summer to bolster their options between the sticks.
Viljami Sinisalo has been Celtic's No1 this season, with Ross Doohan his deputy in Martin O'Neill's squad after Kasper Schmeichel's departure.
However, it's now expected that Johnstone will arrive in Glasgow to rival Sinisalo for the gloves this season.
According to The Daily Record, Celtic have agreed on the outline of a loan deal to sign Johnstone from Championship side Wolves.
They report that Johnstone has been given the green light to head to Scotland to undergo a medical ahead of the proposed move to Celtic.
It's thought Johnstone's representatives highlighted his availability, with Wolves having Jose Sa as their first-choice and John Ruddy and Joao Virginia as back-up options.
Celtic are expected to pay a percentage of Johnstone's wages while he is on loan in the Scottish Premiership.
