Celtic's relentless charge for back to back league titles continued with victory over Aberdeen at Parkhead.
Ange Postecoglou's men have not allowed rivals Rangers a sniff at closing the nine point gap at the top with the Hoops making it 24 wins from 26 league outings. Only the Light Blues and St Mirren have claimed a result off the reigning champions to date. Skipper Callum McGregor got the home fans off their feet inside the first two minutes as he fired beyond Aberdeen's Jay Gorter. Just over ten minutes later it was two in a period that the Hoops totally dominated.
A superb move ended with Reo Hatate collecting the ball before drilling a low effort into the back of the net. VAR also played a part with a penalty initially awarded to the Hoops ruled out for an offside call in the build-up. during the first 45 minutes. They then grabbed a third with 15 minutes to play with Hatate adding a second to his tally before sub Liel Abada got in on the act. It's the perfect result heading into next week's Hampden showdown with Rangers with the League Cup up for grabs. Here's how we rated Celtic in a comfortable win in Glasgow's east end.

Joe Hart - 6
Very quiet afternoon for the Hoops No1. A slack pass out from back to Jonny Hayes but he failed to punish keeper.
Alistair Johnston - 6
Looks to have made the right-back spot his own with Anthony Ralston back-up after Josip Juranovic's departure. Has taken to life at Celtic like a duck to water.
Cameron Carter-Vickers - 6
No major threats. Kept Bojan Miovski quiet. Calm and composed figure.
Carl Starfelt - 6
Like his defensive partner, an easy day at the office.
Greg Taylor - 7
Played his part in the first two goals. Improvement under Ange Postecoglou is incredible. A key player in this team and keeps improving.
Callum McGregor - 8
A brilliant goal after just two minutes for the prefect start. A key cog in this side. Will have eyes firmly another trophy now.
Reo Hatate - 9
Heavily involved throughout. Excellent goal to put the Hoops two goals up in opening 13 minutes. A cert to face Rangers. Stunning finish for both his goals. A real key man in this side. Subbed.
Matt O'Riley - 6
Been out of the team of late due to the form of Aaron Mooy. Huge chance to stake claim Rangers at Hampden next week. Did well. Denied a goal by a smart diving save. Subbed.
Jota - 7
Tested Aberdeen within first minute. Really recapturing his best form. Pace and skills to burn. Subbed.
Daizen Maeda - 7
Showed his pace and direct running threat just before 20 minute mark with Jay Gorter doing well to get a boot to his low cross. Works tirelessly. Subbed.
Oh Hyeon-gyu - 6
In for his first start. Settled into life at Celtic well and performed well here. Off after 70 mins.
Subs
Sead Haksabanovic - 4
Much needed minutes into the legs are he continues to get himself back to fitness.
Tomoki Iwata - 4
Still finding his feet in Glasgow as he looks to break into arguably Celtic's strongest position in the team.
Liel Abada - 7
Always makes an impact with his direct running style. Pace to burn and will have an eye on a start next weekend. His numbers since arriving in Scotland make for impressive reading and he added another strike to round off the scoring.
Kyogo Furuhashi - 3
On for the final 20 minutes to prove his fitness ahead of Rangers next weekend.
James Forrest - 2
A run out for final 12 minutes. A role he's had to get used to in recent times.
