Celtic-linked Zinedin Smajlovic is closing in on a £5.1million switch to Olympiacos.
The Hoops are in the market for a central defender this window and were reported to have lodged an offer for Smajlovic of around £3.5m for the Swede.
That bid was booted into touch by his club, Sandefjord, who were holding out for a higher figure before allowing their top man to depart.
And now, according to Expressen, the Greek giants have come in with a bid of closer to £4.3m which would rise to more than £5.1m should all future clauses be met and triggered.

It has been claimed that all parties are in agreement over a sale of the 22-year-old and that he will, "barring anything unexpected", fly to Greece to complete his medical in the coming days.
Smajlovic only arrived at Sandefjord last season but he made 38 appearances and impressed as they finished fifth in their division.
Now he is closing in on what would be a record sale for his club as his deal blows the move for Stefán Ingi Sigurdarson to Go Ahead Eagles earlier this year out of the water. That was worth around £2.6m.
Smajlovic has under-21s caps for Sweden and will look to use his move to Olympiacos to catapult him into the A team for his nation who just made the knockout rounds of the World Cup.
