Celtic legend's son Jordan Larsson earns 'approaches' for free transfer after Spartak Moscow call

Jordan Larsson is available in a cut-price deal for clubs across Europe after his deal with Russian side Spartak Moscow was terminated.

The son of Celtic legend Henrik, he has spent time out on loan back in his native Sweden with AIK after securing a loan deal away from Russia amid their ongoing invasion of Ukraine. Fifa had granted foreign players who play in both nations involved permission to suspend their contracts and move to a new club until the end of June, which was taken with both hands.

Now Larsson is seeking a permanent home after coming to an agreement to free him from his contract, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano. His dad needs no introduction to fans of the Parkhead club after 242 goals in 313 games saw him named the 'King of Kings' by the adoring faithful in Glasgow. There have been previous links to a stunning move.

It was only in November 2021 that Larsson was linked with a move to his father's former club after Spartak had previously set an asking price of around £13million, which was set to be lowered amid a loss of form and injury.

West Ham and Borussia Dortmund were two other clubs believed to have been monitoring him at that time, netting 27 times in 83 games for his Russian employers.

Reports have already suggested that the 25-year-old has 'received some approaches' with regards to what comes next now he is on the market.
