Celtic are 'seriously interested' in a move for a promising Polish attacking midfielder, according to a report.
Mateusz Bogusz of LAFC is said to be attracting interest from the Scottish Premiership champions.
Tomasz Włodarczyk of media outlet Meczyki.pl claims talks between the Hoops and the MLS side are underway to thrash out a transfer fee.
It's said that negotiations over a fee for the 22-year-old will be around the €8-10m mark, which equates to around £6.5-10.5m.
It's reported that while discussions between the clubs have commenced, the conclusion of any potential deal is still some way off.
The report says that personal terms between Celtic and Bogusz will not be an issue.
Bogusz is an attacking midfielder from Poland, currently playing for LAFC in the United States. He can also play as a centre-forward.
He's scored 20 goals during his 74 appearances for the MLS club, while providing 14 assists for his teammates.
He played for UD Ibiza in La Liga 2 previously, while he also made three appearances for Leeds United.
It's believed that the midfielder is versatile, and one of his greatest strengths is shots from distance, which could prove handy in Scotland.
Brendan Rodgers is still looking to bolster his squad ahead of August 30th's transfer deadline, especially with Matt O'Riley's imminent £25m departure for Brighton.
