Shakhtar boss Igor Jovicevic has revealed he is keeping tabs on Marian Shved - setting up a potential return to Celtic for the Ukranian winger.
The wideman is currently in Belgium at Mechelen after failing to cement himself as a regular Hoops fixture following his 2019 move to Parkhead from Karpaty. He made three appearances before heading abroad on loan and then permanently last summer, although he is now trying to force a move back home, amid the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
Jovicevic has confirmed that he is aware of Shved's Celtic struggles but a premium opportunity to show them what they may be missing could arise in the Champions League, with the Ukrainian's drawn together with the Hoops, holders Real Madrid and RB Leipzig at the group stage phase. Speaking of the 25-year-old, the Donetsk boss said to club media: "He is strong, fast, can play one-vs-one; he is a left-footer.
