Kieran Tierney will be 'frustrated' at his lack of football at Arsenal reckons Alan Smith and believes it will be a 'wait and see' job over his future.
The former Celtic star has been limited to his game-time this season due to the superb form of summer recruit Oleksandr Zinchenko following his transfer from Manchester City. The versatile Ukraine international is up there as the Gunners' Player of the Year contender with the North London side sitting five points clear at the top of the English Premier League.
Scotland international Tierney got a rare 20 minutes run out in the league at the weekend with Arsenal cruising to victory over Fulham. He had picked up just NINE minutes in the previous eight outings before his run out at Craven Cottage and will be pushing for a start against Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League with his main football this campaign coming in the competition and domestic cups.

That would come as a major boost to Steve Clarke ahead of Scotland's Euro 2024 qualifying campaign getting up and running at the end of the month against Cyprus and Spain.
Mikel Arteta revealed last week to having talks with Tierney saying that the left-back 'knew his role' but Smith reckons he will not be best pleased with his current situation. The likes of Newcastle United have been strongly linked with a summer swoop and that has left him wondering over his long-term future at the Emirates.
He told Sky Sports: "You wonder about Kieran Tierney. He will be frustrated not to be getting much football. Whether he stays at the club in the summer, we have to wait and see.”
Tierney is contracted to Arsenal until 2026. He joined from Celtic in a big money £25million transfer and the Gunners are reported to want to land the fee they shelled out.
