Ange Postecoglou has been granted permission to talk to Tottenham.
Sky Sports News report that Celtic have allowed the 57-year-old to start discussions with the North London outfit over a potential move to the English Premier League to replace Antonio Conte. Daniel Levy has identified the Treble winning boss as his main man and he will now look to get a deal over the line with chat between the two parties underway.
Reports this morning suggest a 'verbal agreement' is already in place with contract details also emerging. His loss would come as a huge blow to the Scottish champions after a hugely successful two years in charge at Parkhead.

He won the Scottish Cup at the weekend to complete a domestic clean sweep with victory over Inverness. It was a big moment for the gaffer after he missed out on the famous old trophy last season. It means in his two campaigns in charge he was won five out of six trophies on offer in Scotland.
His work in the transfer market has also been lauded. The likes of Kyogo Furuhashi, Reo Hatate, Jota, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Liel Abada and Matt O'Riley have all arrived on his watch. Josip Juranovic and Giorgos Giakoumakis are two others he signed and sold on for profit and showed his strength in identifying replacements in the shape of Alistair Johnston and Oh Hyeon-gyu.
With the move expected to go through, Celtic will now turn attentions to finding their own next manager with former boss Brendan Rodgers now the leading candidate with bookmakers.
The next manager will arrive at a club on a high and Champions League football guaranteed.
The Celtic faithful will be watching on developments with keen eyes as Spurs begin to escalate the move to prize Ange to the riches of the English Premier League.
