Celtic defender Adam Montgomery has rejoined Livingston on a season-long loan for the 2026/27 campaign.
The 24-year-old's return comes after an injury-hit stint with Livingston last term, where he made only eight appearances before being recalled by Celtic in January.

Montgomery initially impressed with his first loan move in July 2025, scoring on his competitive debut in a 6-0 Premier Sports Cup win against Kelty Hearts. He cemented his place in Livingston's starting line-up until injury prematurely ended his spell.
The left-sided player, who began his career as a forward, will now seek regular first-team action under Livingston head coach Glenn Whelan, where he will wear the No.24 shirt.
Montgomery, who joined Celtic’s academy in 2009, signed his first professional contract in July 2019.

He made his Celtic first-team debut as an 18-year-old in a 4-0 Premiership victory over St Johnstone in May 2021.
Having made 20 first-team appearances for Celtic, Montgomery has also gained senior experience on loans to Aberdeen, St Johnstone, Fleetwood Town, Motherwell, and Queen’s Park.
His time with Queen’s Park in 2024/25 included 14 appearances and one goal, contributing to a notable Scottish Cup run before his initial move to Livingston in July 2025.
