Scott Bain has signed fresh terms with Celtic according to a report.
The Hoops understudy was under contract until next summer at Parkhead but the Daily Mail report Ange Postecoglou has decided to deal him in on a three-year contract extension as he commits his future to the champions.
Joe Hart is the undisputed No1 at Parkhead with former Dundee United keeper Benjamin Siegrist also on the books after his arrival last summer. But he has had a difficult campaign with injuries meaning Bain has found himself on the bench as back-up often. He hasn't featured at all this season with fellow keeper Siegrist making just two appearances in the League Cup in the early rounds against Ross County and Motherwell with Hart playing 47 games in all competitions so far this campaign. The Hoops have three more league games plus a Scottish Cup Final to come before the season ends.

They've already bagged the League Cup and Scottish Premiership title and they can complete a Treble with victory over Inverness at Hampden next month.
Bain, 31, seems to have done enough to convince Postecoglou to keep him around for the long-term.
He's had three international caps for Scotland during his career and turned out for the likes of Alloa and Dundee before joining Celtic in 2018 under Brendan Rodgers. He's played 74 games in total for the club and will be hoping to add more in the future.
Next up for the champions is a weekend home clash with St Mirren before outings against Hibs and Aberdeen next week.
