CELTIC midfielder Yosuke Ideguchi will reportedly miss the start of the season after an injury blow ahead of this weekend's Scottish Premiership curtain-raiser.
Ange Postecoglou's side take on Aberdeen on Sunday in the first league action of the season - but according to a report, Ideguchi won't be involved.
The Japanese international joined Celtic from Gamba Osaka in January and had to wait for an opportunity to impress.
However, his career was halted with an injury against Alloa in Scottish Cup duty which stalled any momentum as he was forced onto the sidelines.
Now - after featuring in pre-season - Ideguchi is out again with The Scottish Sun reporting he suffered an injury in training and will be sidelined.
Ideguchi has so far only made six appearance for Celtic with four of them coming as a substitute.
