Watch: Celine Dion announces comeback after four-year hiatus

Celine Dion has announced her return to the stage with a series of comeback concerts in Paris.

It comes four years after the singer was diagnosed with stiff person syndrome (SPS) - an incurable condition that affected her singing voice and her ability to walk.

Sharing the news on Instagram on Monday (30 March), which was also her 58th birthday, the star called the comeback “the best gift of my life”.

“I'm getting the chance to see you, to perform for you once again," Dion said, thanking her fans for their continued support.

Dion will perform 10 shows at Paris La Défense Arena from 12 September through October 14.
