Love Island's Laura Anderson and Hollyoaks actor Gary Lucy are said to have taken the next big step in their relationship. The pair, who found love after appearing on the new series of Celebs Go Dating, have now met each other's nearest and dearest.
Last month, the couple made their relationship official after being spotted cosying up together in September. They both joined the E4 programme to find love with candidates set up by the experts but, instead, the pair found each other.
Laura has said that she's "the happiest [she's] been in a long time" as she takes the next step with the 40-year-old telly star. Back in 2018, Gary's marriage to Natasha Gray ended after four years, and in August Laura split from boyfriend Dane Bowers after five years.
The new couple are said to be completely besotted with one another. A source told The Sun : "Laura and Gary are absolutely smitten. It is amazing to see their connection. And It’s clear for all to see they’re a brilliant match. They both feel this is the real deal and are already talking about the next steps."
They added: "They’ve met each other’s families and feel this is not a case of if things move onto the next level but when they move onto the next big milestones. They’re both on the same page and want the full shebang - family and marriage - they’re in it for the long haul."
Laura and Gary were told to keep their romance under wraps ahead of the new series of Celebs Go Dating airing, but fans spotted a few signs that they were an item.
Speaking to The Sun, Laura confirmed her relationship with Gary, and said she was really happy with how things were going. She explained: "We started off as friends but let see what happens.
"There were loads of dates on the show and sometimes when your dates don't go that well you just see who else is around. Things are going really well for us, I wouldn't change anything. We are going with the flow and seeing where things go."
