The line-up for the new series of Celebrity MasterChef has been unveiled, including a former Corrie actor, a Love Island star, a Strictly dancer and a champion boxer.
John Torode and Gregg Wallace will put twenty celebrities to the test on the BBC show when it returns this summer – with the culinary competition spread across six weeks.
The line-up of the new series includes former Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas – who previously won Celebrity Big Brother – as well as Love Island alum Faye Winter.
Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Katya Jones and former world boxing champion Chris Eubank – who appeared on I'm a Celebrity in 2015 – will also take part.
McFly member Danny Jones and former footballer Jimmy Bullard will also be taking to the kitchen for the competition, as well as former EastEnders star and Hollyoaks actor Richard Blackwood.
Paul Chuckle – who is best known as one half of duo the Chuckle Brothers – and All Saints singer Mel Blatt will also participate in the new series of the BBC One culinary show.
Other competitors in the new series – which is set to air later this year – include Birds of a Feather actor Lesley Joseph as well as former model and TV presenter Lisa Snowdon.
BBC viewers will also see choirmaster Gareth Malone and presenter Kirsty Gallacher showcase their abilities in the kitchen when the show returns for its seventeenth series.
Media personality Nancy Dell'Olio and Rupaul's Drag Race UK finalist Kitty Scott-Claus will also show off their culinary skills, as well as presenter and campaigner Adam Pearson.
Comedian Kae Kurd, The Wire actor Clarke Peters, former EastEnders star Cliff Parisi and reality star MoJo will also compete to be crowned the winner of the new series.
It's yet to be announced how the celebrities will be divided up into heats, with such information expected to be revealed shortly before the BBC competition returns this summer.
The twenty celebrities will be put to the test on the culinary show, which will see them chop, slice and sizzle their way towards lifting the iconic trophy in the Celebrity MasterChef final.
The new series of the culinary show will feature four heat weeks to whittle down the twenty competitors with an array of challenges including cooking street food.
Those who progress to the semi-final and final week will face cooking for large numbers of people. Meanwhile a special centenary challenge to mark 100 years of the BBC will also take place in the competition.
It has been teased that the new series is "funny, engaging and nail-biting," with the line-up said to provide "fierce competition" whilst battling it out to be crowned the latest winner.
The winner of the new series will join the likes of presenter Riyadh Khalaf as well as athletes Kadeena Cox, and Greg Rutherford – who have all been champions in recent series.
Parasport athlete Kadeena is the reigning winner, having been declared champion of the show last year – after competing against the likes of Katie Price and Melanie Sykes.
