Reports earlier this month that Denise Van Outen had split from fiancé Eddie Boxshall after seven years together shocked fans.
However, one half of the Celebrity Gogglebox couple appears to have broken his silence on the relationship after Boxshall posted a cryptic tweet.
It comes after 47-year-old Denise addressed 'much speculation' about their relationship amid claims he had been cheating on her with other women, reported the Mirror.
Taking to Instagram, Eddie has posted a series of cryptic messages to his 65.6k followers with the latest reading: "Don't believe everything you read."
The couple regularly appeared on Channel 4's Celebrity Gogglebox reacting to the week's TV.
Reports that Denise will be appearing on the next series of the show with a different sofa companion have already been circulating.
Last year, reports appeared that said Eddie had the 'hump' with Denise for 'flirting with people at work'.
Those comments resurfaced recently and referred to her time on Dancing on Ice. He said that the flirting and banter from the show stopped when she got back home to him.
"It gives me the hump. Start chucking it a bit in my direction," he said in February last year on their podcast Before We Say I Do.
On the same podcast before, Denise admitted she has always been flirty by nature with her male pals.
"I don't flirt with him. I flirt with everyone at work, I'm naturally flirty. It's flanter – flirty banter. I don't mean anything by it," she said
Admitting the pandemic had strained their relationship like it had for millions of couples, she added: "We've been locked down together 24/7 and a few things have come up.
"If we try and sit down and talk about things, we'll end up bickering."
While getting tips from pyschosexual therapist Cate Mackenzie, Eddie stated he wanted Denise to "find that little pocket of space" again so that they could reignite the flame.
"I'm very aware of me putting us in situations where I'm not giving enough," she confessed. "I'm not as affectionate as I should be and I feel like I’ve lost my way a little bit within the relationship.
"It's a good relationship but I think it could be better if we take the time to discuss what is bothering us about each other so we can move forward."
