Celebrity Gogglebox has confirmed some of the stars who will be taking part in this year's Stand Up to Cancer edition. Welsh friends Charlotte Church and Luke Evans, who recently worked together on a song, will be sitting down to give their thoughts on some of this week's TV.
Of being part of the show, Charlotte said: "Cancer affects so many – with one in two of us getting a diagnosis in our lifetime – so we’re delighted we can play a small part in supporting the incredible work being done by Stand Up To Cancer." Meanwhile, friend and co-star Luke, who's known for his roles in Beauty and the Beast and Nine Perfect Strangers currently airing on Channel 4, added: "I love the show so it’s a bit of a treat to be able to watch TV and enjoy some snacks, all for such a good cause – I can’t wait to see what we’ll be watching!"
Charlotte is also appearing on her own TV show at the moment, Dream Build, on which she is renovating Rhydoldog House, in the stunning Elan Valley and has turned it into a retreat. Read more on that, here.

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and daughter Tilly will also be joining the line-up. They said: “We’re always happy to support the superb work that Stand Up To Cancer do, and despite our TV tastes being polar opposites, we had a lot of fun filming this very special episode of Gogglebox. Every penny raised goes towards finding cures for cancer so I hope we can help raise bucketloads of money.”
In a promotional photo accompanying the news, Gordon and Tilly can be seen wearing matching onesies and sheepskin slippers. They will join other Gogglebox regulars on the sofa for the show on Friday, October 28 on Channel 4.
It wouldn't be the first time that Gordon and Tilly have appeared on-screen together. They have previously worked together on ITV's This Morning, CBBC show Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch and regularly make their followers laugh on TikTok.
Last year, Gordon could be seen supporting his daughter in the audience when she appeared on Strictly Come Dancing. Her and professional dancer Nikita Kuzmin (who is partnered with Ellie Simmonds this year) were ninth to be eliminated from the competition.
More stars are set to be announced ahead of the special airing. Catch Gogglebox: Celebrity Special for SU2C airs on Channel 4 on Friday, October 28 at 9pm.
