
Activision has revealed all the details of the Call of Duty League’s (CDL) competitive settings for 2026, including all the maps and game modes allowed, along with the items that the pro players are restricted from using.
The CDL competitive settings define the official parameters for fair and balanced gameplay in the pro scene. Some maps get eliminated from the competition, which are often brought back via rotations later. Game modes, equipment, and other items also go through specific restrictions to maintain competitive integrity.
Players and teams must follow these competitive standards to compete at the highest levels. CDL evolves each year, and here are all the competitive settings for 2026 in Black Ops 7.

CDL 2026 online Veto and Map Ban process, explained
In CDL 2026 matches, teams alternate banning and picking maps from the official pool based on match format, either Best-of-Five or Best-of-Seven. Each banned or picked map cannot be reused later in the series.
Hardpoint map bans from both teams until the playable maps remain, while teams pick Control and Search and Destroy maps separately. Side picks, as in which team starts on attack or defense, happen after maps are chosen.
After vetoes, one host veto is allowed, where a team blocks a player on the opposing team from hosting the match. For more details, you can check CDL’s official map veto page.
