CDC Has Issued Its Only Active Zika Travel Notice, and It Is for One of Asia's Most Popular Vacation Islands

For most of the past several years, the CDC's Zika travel page carried an unusual line: there were no geographic areas anywhere in the world with an active Zika travel health notice.

That changed on August 7. The agency issued a Level 2 notice, Practice Enhanced Precautions, for Indonesia after cases of Zika began appearing in travelers returning from Bali.
