It’s hard to believe that Cyberpunk 2077 came out almost two years ago and lit the world on fire with all those (often hilarious) glitches. Developer CD Projekt Red has been steadily patching the futuristic RPG ever since while teasing an expansion, which we might learn more about soon.
On Friday, CD Projekt Red announced an all-new Night City Wire livestream discussing the future of Cyberpunk 2077. What it’ll exactly entail regarding the game is anybody’s guess, though there’ll be more information on Netflix’s visual feast that is the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime. The series will premiere later that week, so it’ll probably be this stream’s focus.
The latest episode of Night City Wire is happening on September 6 at 11 a.m. ET/3 p.m. GMT/5 p.m. CEST. You can watch it on CD Projekt Red’s official Twitch and YouTube channels.

The upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 expansion is supposed to release next year, and rumors claim it’ll involve the character of Songbird. Though it’s unlikely that Keanu Reeves will reprise the role of Johnny Silverhand as it seems he’s not all that involved — much to the internet’s dismay. In any event, at least the next-gen versions are seemingly a considerable step-up.
