CCTV released of cyclist who may be key witness in Bristol rape investigation

Police are searching for a cyclist who could be a key witness in an ongoing rape investigation.

An image has been released of a man who walked with the victim of the sex crime along Winterstoke Road at around 9am on Friday, December 3. The cyclist had no involvement in the offence, but police have released the photo in the hopes that he may be identified or recognise himself.

The victim, who was pulling a black suitcase behind them as they walked, hadn’t met the cyclist before but says he told them his name was Mateusz. The cyclist wore a bright red jacket and had what could be a child seat on the back of his bike.
