Three men have been identified after a group of four males were assaulted in Newcastle city centre.
The group of four were stood outside Greggs, on Neville Street, in the early hours of January 28 when it is reported they were assaulted by another group of males in an unprovoked attack.
One of the men, aged 21, was knocked unconscious and another aged 19, sustained a broken jaw and was left needing surgery. They were both taken to hospital and received treatment for their injuries. The other two men, both aged 19 sustained minor facial injuries.
CCTV images of three men police wanted to identify were released by the force.
A spokesperson for Northumbria Police has now confirmed that they have traced three men and they have subsequently been arrested.
