A Bury man has been left needing surgery after being attacked at a bar in Blackpool. Detectives have today (May 2) released CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to following the assault.
Lancashire Police says the attack left the victim, aged in his 30s, with a fractured skull. The incident took place at Shenanigans, on the Promenade, on Saturday, April 1.
Enquiries are ongoing. Anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV images is being urged to contact Lancashire Police.

A spokesperson for Blackpool Police wrote on Facebook: "Do you know this man? We want to speak to him after an assault in Shenanigans in Blackpool [last month] where a man was assaulted and suffered fractures to his skull.
"The victim, a man in his 30s from Bury, Greater Manchester, was attacked in the bar on April 1. He will need surgery for his injuries.
"An investigation is underway, and we want to trace the man in these CCTV images. Anyone with information should contact us on 101 quoting log 0454 of April 3.
