Officers are searching for a man in connection with a reported assault which saw another man left with serious injuries.
Shortly after 9.30pm on Friday, December 30 last year, a man was allegedly assaulted by two men in the Blacksmith Arms Pub, on High Street, in the Gosforth area of Newcastle.
An investigation was launched and officers have today (February 21) released an image of a man they would like to speak to as part of their enquiries.

A spokesman for Northumbria Police said: “He was believed to be in the area at the time of the incident and may have information which could be useful to the investigation.”
