CCTV of Queen's mural vandal throwing paint filled water balloons

A man who threw water balloons filled with brown paint at a mural of Queen Elizabeth II was caught on camera.

CCTV footage shared with The ECHO showed the man hurling the paint-filled balloons at the face of the late monarch, painted on a wall of the Wedding Collection shop on Hoylake Road, Moreton, at 6.22pm yesterday, April 18.

Shop owner Maria Earnshaw said: "You can see him walking towards the mural head on, and literally pulling out balloons with paint and splashing them onto the wall. You can see him doing it - it wasn't even dark.
