Amir Khan 's wife has shared the CCTV footage of the moment he was robbed for his watch at gunpoint in London.
The Bolton boxer was in Leyton, East London, on Monday evening with his wife Faryal Makhdoom when he claimed to have been robbed by two men for his £72,000 Franck Muller Geneve watch. Khan posted on social media after the incident to confirm he and his wife were safe, writing: "Just had my watch taken off me at gun point in East London, Leyton. I crossed the road with Faryal, luckily she was few steps behind me.
"Two men ran to me, he asked for my watch whilst having a gun pointed in my face. The main thing is we’re both safe." Makhdoom has since posted CCTV footage of the moment Khan was confronted by the robbers after he left a restaurant in Leyton with his wife.
