An arsonist watched from metres away as firefighters tackled a fire he'd set only minutes before.
In CCTV obtained by the ECHO, a person on a bike cycles past a group of firefighters tackling a large fire someone matching his description can be seen starting in a bin just minutes before. The cyclist stops only metres down the street from the firefighters and watches as the fire is put out.
The incident happened behind SalonEasy, a hairdressing wholesale business on Moor Lane, Heswall, on Monday evening. Its owner, Robert Evans, said he noticed the crime when he came in the next day.
