Police have issued CCTV pictures of a man they want to speak to after a teenager was sexually assaulted on a train to Manchester Victoria.
The incident happened on a train from York on Tuesday, April 11. An 'unknown man', who boarded the TransPennine Service at York, attacked the 19-year-old victim.
He then left the train at Manchester Victoria, British Transport Police said. Officers now want to speak to the man captured on CCTV as they believe 'he could help with their investigation'.

Anyone who recognises the man is being urged to contact police. Anyone with information about the incident - which happened between 2.20pm and 3.35pm - should also contact officers.
In a statement, a BTP spokesperson said: "British Transport Police are today issuing CCTV images following a report of sexual assault on board a train. The incident happened between 2.20pm and 3.35pm on Tuesday, 11 April, when an unknown man boarded a Transpennine Express service at York.
"He sexually assaulted the 19-year-old victim before leaving the service at Manchester Victoria station. Officers believe the man in the images may have information that could help their investigation.
"Anyone who knows him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016, or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference number 354 of 11/04/2023. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
