CBSE Chairman transferred amid OSM controversy: All about IAS officer Rahul Singh

The Centre has transferred CBSE Chairman Rahul Singh and Secretary Himanshu Gupta and ordered an inquiry into the procurement of the Board's On-Screen Marking (OSM) services, intensifying scrutiny of the examination body's digital evaluation system.

The move comes after growing concerns over CBSE's post-result processes and the performance of its technology-driven services, which faced widespread criticism following the announcement of the Class 10 and Class 12 board examination results.
